After nursing I always need to stretch out my arms. It’s a lot of work. A baby uses 37 muscles in order to suckle. Okay I totally just made that up. But I do work hard, so it’s only a white lie. In the ballpark of “I did not inhale” or something.

Professional Pictures!
A bit before the Georgia vacation Mommy took me to get some really nice professional pictures taken. I was so cute she bought about seven hundred of them! Luckily for you, Daddy put them up here so you can just download them.

This one is Daddy’s favorite. He says it looks like I am watching you. Yes Daddy I am always watching! And telling Mommy! So you better watch out!
Here I am, all naked and innocent. Well at least naked.
Georgia Lake House Vacation
What a fun vacation! We drove down to Georgia, just outside Atlanta, to visit Bob and Ryan Casey’s lake house. It was very beautiful and we had a lot of fun.
Here is the view of the lake. It was a little cloudy this weekend. But it was cool and a nice breeze was blowing. A few times it rained just enough to cool us off. Lake Allatoona is man-made by damming a river and creeks. It’s very deep. Daddy said if I’m good he’ll take me on a trip to Lake Titticaca one day. I can’t wait!
Here are some of the wonderful woods surrounding the lake house.
Mommy is headed down to the boat to sit and chat with the ladies. Why do ladies sit around and chat so much?! I don’t know but I am learning how to do it pretty well from watching Mommy.
Here’s me and Grandma Susan down on the boat. It’s a lot of fun to sit and float on the boat. It’s like nature’s perfect rocking chair.
All three of us floating on the boat. Mommy says I need some sunglasses too. Do you think they make them in my size?
Here’s is the best picture ever! This is Mommy holding me, Rebecca with Isabella, and Amy with Sydney.
Holy cow am I going to get that big?! Mercer likes to sing to babies and she knows a lot of nursery rhymes.
Oh Grandpa tell it again!
Look it’s my cousin Isabella with her daddy Kip. He likes to talk in this funny jibber-jabber talk. It sounds even funnier that adults speaking English. I dunno what it is but I think it’s what they speak at Lake Titticaca?
I refuse to pose for this picture. I’m in a baby union and we only smile and look cute after nursing. No Milk No Peace!
Mommy and Daddy are so cute, at least when they’re holding me. I think without me they’d be maybe a 2 or 3, but with me, it’s a perfect 10!
Grandpa can’t take his eyes off me. I can’t take my eyes off the ceiling fan.
Hey look it’s Daddy again!
Baby Life
The life of a baby is pretty fun. Here’s daddy showing off my new dress. Mommy decided that maybe a wardrobe of 100% onesies wasn’t the most fashionable, after all.
This is my Aunt Nancy. Or Great Aunt. Or whatever. Neither I nor Dad can ever remember how all these titles work. Anyway Aunt Nancy lives around the corner from us, but she was sick, so at first she couldn’t come to visit me. CDC quarantine and all that jazz. She’s been cleared now and is free to move about Middletown and visit small children.
We went over to Mommy and Daddy’s friends Angeline and Josh’s house. Angeline’s mom and dad were visiting from Wisconsin. Nancy really likes babies! Or maybe it’s just me?

Bye Bye
Well Gama and Popop and Uncle Ed had to head back home. Here are a bunch of pictures of us and all the food we ate :)
C’mon Big Money! Big Money! Oh wait Mommy and Daddy won’t let me bet :(
The jockeys are getting ready to race. Please mom and dad can I please bet on them? Please? Just a few hundred dollars is all I need. “No child of mine is going to throw away my hard earned money on the ponies!” That was what Dad said.
Run horsey run! Not that I care. No. It’s not like I have any money on this race or anything. Noooo. That would just be wrong!
This photo is not blurry. When my grandpa cooks he really does move that fast.
Daddy says if gold were food, this is what it would look like. Roast beef, and about a gallon of gravy. You can’t see the two yorkshire puddings, peas, roasted potatoes, etc.
After dinner everybody is so tired from eating that they can’t move. What’s more work, cooking it, eating it, or digesting it?
It takes some fancy camerwork to get my head to cover up his head!
Okay daddy you can kiss this cheek this time.
Every month Mommy will take a picture of me next to my teddy rabbit that Uncle Ed got for me. Then you can see how much I’ve grown! This is my 1 month shot.
Oh it’s time for a picture? Okay let me get my squirm on then!
We went back to the park for a walk and some nice strangers took our picture. But we did not talk to them. Never talk to strangers! Especially in the park. Especially in the woods!
At the park there was another horse. But there was just one so there was no racing. Uncle Ed and I bet on how long until the horse “fertilized the park”. It turns out I was actually the first to go, so the challenge was thrown out.
L ook away Daddy, I’m shy.
Popop bought flowers for Mommy and Gama for Mother’s Day, wasn’t that nice?
Hey back off, I can hold my own binky! Jeez.
I think this is the activity they call “sleep” but I didn’t think I ever did that?
Gama is cuddly.
Sometimes when I have gas they put a sock full of hot microwaved rice on my stomach. What’s so funny?
Here I am delivering the punchline to my joke about a Rabbi, the Pope, and a dirty diaper. I don’t think she got it.
Daddy is like a modern day “boy with his finger in the dam”. If he pulls it out nothing will flood, but I will cry for hours. It’s up to you to decide which is worse?

Two Cameras Doubles The Pictures
Here are yet more pictures from Gama, Popop, and Uncle Ed.
Finally a picture of my Uncle Ed.
Daddy shows off his diaper changing skills to impress the family. I went ahead and didn’t pee on him this time.
Mommy opened some gifts for me.
We went for a walk and Gama pushed me all over the neighborhood.
I’m being good for Popop today but tomorrow I’ll probably show him what’s what.
I’m standing! I’m standing!
Do you see the resemblance? Please say you don’t see it?
Uncle Ed had a back ache from all the hospital ER trauma he dishes out. So Popop gave him a patented DeHope shiatsu massage.
Just me. What else do you need a picture of?
Gama & Popop and Uncle Ed Visit - Friday
This weekend Dad’s mom and dad and brother visited. They flew up from Tampa, Florida.
Popop makes a run for it, he’s headed for the back door!
Proud Grandparents.
Popop measured my scalp for a hat fitting.
Here’s the hat Popop skinned for me.
Looking and Gama.
It’s a giant pink blimp of happy joy… but I’m crying?
Two cakes… great minds think alike.
Cookie cake is Mommy’s favorite.
I’m four weeks old today!
Here’s me blowing out the candle on my cake. My lungs are actually quite advanced.
Are you sure we’re related?!
